My first week home has been uneventful- except Mommy & Daddy's lives have changed forever (not to mention Bailey, Roxi, and Phoebe)... Here are a few pictures of my first week...

Hi Everyone,

I am home- Yippie !!! No more nurses poking me. I am perfect... and beautiful :)



Daddy's work had a surprise party for me today... THANK- YOU everyone-



I love Daddy in the hat and so does mommy (mommy especially)



I am doing a good job of keeping mommy up at night and with a 3 day weekend coming-up Daddy too.



I have been more active today and giving mommy and daddy the gas smiles - mom wants to think they are more than gas but they are still soooo cute...

Mommy and Hannah are still in Gainesville... Hannah is doing well- still some minor complications, nothing with her lung - she is jaundice and receiving some "light therapy" we hope (and pray) that we will be home on Wednesday- Daddy went home this evening and back to work on Monday... Here are a few more pictures of Hannah... Looking forward to our "new family" being together at home :)

After 25 hours of labor I have arrived! I am currently in NICU- a few complications... I am 6 lbs 11 oz 18 1/4 inches... I and I am cute as a PRINCESS! My official arrival time 9:25 a.m. on August 22... a day Mommy and Daddy will never forget.





Hannah has already been a blessing... she is so precious... I know I am the mommy so I am a bit partial but I think she is beautiful. All 25 hours were SO very worth this beautiful baby. I have never felt "instant" love ... but God graced me with the experience this morning. I just have been looking at her and taking her all in - her nurse says she looks like me... I see it in some ways but I think she looks a lot like herself... I never knew I could love someone or something as I love her... and Thank the Lord for her ... I am excited for the time I can hold her and love her as I would like ...

Today is the Day!!!

After a long day of waiting for test results to make sure my lungs were mature... I am on my way! Mommy had a test this morning to check my lungs and the first test came back immature... the results came back at 4:00 p.m. so, the next option was to do a more in dept test ... Mommy & Daddy had to call back at 11:00 p.m. to see what the results were... and I am on my way fully mature... God is gracious... I know He comforted Daddy and Mommy and continues to amaze... Calling the hospital at 7 a.m. to see if they have a room and then heading to Shands for delivery! See everyone VERY soon... Love Jan - Rachel and Hannah
